About
Explore 3,000 years of Jewish history on this 3-day tour — Caesarea's Roman port, Rosh HaNikra sea caves, and Crusader Acre on Day 1; the Western Wall, City of David tunnels, and Jewish Quarter on Day 2; and Masada fortress and Dead Sea on Day 3.
This 3-day Jewish heritage tour spans 3,000 years of history — from Herod's desert fortress to the underground tunnels beneath King David's city. Day 1 travels north along the Mediterranean coast to Caesarea National Park (Roman theater, hippodrome, and palace ruins), Haifa's Baha'i Gardens, Rosh HaNikra's dramatic sea caves at the Lebanese border, and Acre's spectacular Underground Crusader City. Day 2 explores Jerusalem's Jewish heritage: Mount Scopus panorama, the Kidron Valley, the Armenian Quarter, the Jewish Quarter's Byzantine Cardo, the Western Wall, and the extraordinary City of David — where 3,000-year-old underground tunnels carved through solid rock lead you from the Spring of Gihon through the ancient water system to the Pool of Siloam. Day 3 heads to Masada National Park for a cable car ascent to Herod's fortress, then Ein Gedi, Qumran, and the Dead Sea. Departs Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
