Good to know

Ramon is a small airport, so passport control and baggage usually take twenty minutes, not an hour: tell the driver your flight number and the pick-up will follow the landing. Eilat hotels are spread along the North Beach and the lagoon, and the transfer covers any of them. In summer the desert road is hot even at night, so keep water in the car. Standard allowance is one large suitcase and one carry-on per person.
