Private Transfer Israel ↔ Amman Airport
Book now
About
Flying out of Amman when Tel Aviv does not work is a real option, and this private transfer connects Israel to Queen Alia Airport through the Sheikh Hussein crossing near Beit Shean. Pickups run daily between six and eleven in the morning from Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, central and northern Israel. One vehicle takes you to the border, a second meets you on the Jordanian side and continues to the airport. Border formalities are yours to complete: the transfer covers the driving, not the paperwork, and the $35 border fee and $60 visa are paid separately.
Highlights
- Reach Queen Alia Airport in Amman when flights from Israel are not an option
- Start from Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa or anywhere in central and northern Israel
- Cross at the Sheikh Hussein bridge near Beit Shean with a driver who knows it
- Continue in a separate Jordanian vehicle on the other side of the border
- Book morning pickups between 06:00 and 11:00, seven days a week
- Pay per vehicle rather than per seat for the whole group
Good to know
The crossing is the Sheikh Hussein bridge near Beit Shean, not the Allenby bridge near Jericho, so check that your visa and route suit it. Bring your passport and any Jordanian visa paperwork, allow an hour at the border, and expect to walk between the two terminals with your luggage. Pickups are morning only, between six and eleven. Book ahead if you have a flight from Amman the same day: the drive from the border to Queen Alia takes about two hours.
