This 2-day tour showcases two of Israel's most distinctive regions — the Mediterranean coast and the dramatic Golan Heights. Day 1 begins with Caesarea National Park's remarkable Roman legacy: a 2,000-year-old theater, hippodrome, and palace ruins beside the sea. Head north to Haifa for the stunning Baha'i Gardens cascading down Mount Carmel, then to Rosh HaNikra's breathtaking sea caves carved into white chalk cliffs at the Lebanese border, and finally to Acre's magnificent Underground Crusader fortress. Day 2 crosses the Plain of Armageddon past Megiddo into the Galilee countryside, ascending the Golan Heights to visit Hamat Gader's Roman hot springs, the Shalom Observatory with its panoramic Sea of Galilee views, Katzrin's excavated Talmudic village, and Mount Bental's Syrian bunkers from the 1967 Six Day War. Departs Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
